Project Overview
Woodville High School engaged Click Films to create two promotional video projects that went beyond a traditional school marketing approach. The first was an Acknowledgement of Country video, created with Aboriginal students at Woodville High School as an ongoing resource for the school community. The second, Our Place, told the story of the local area by connecting the Indigenous history and cultural knowledge of the land with Woodville High School’s present-day focus on learning, diversity, innovation and student growth. The project involved multiple shoot days, locations and students, bringing together personal voices, cultural storytelling and the school’s broader identity. The final videos provided Woodville High School with meaningful and highly regarded resources that both honour local Aboriginal cultures and history, while also promoting the school’s diversity, sense of belonging and connection to place.
