WHO WE ARE?

Hi, we’re Click Films!

We’ve always loved the simple power of video – the way it captures attention, sparks emotion and tells a story in a way nothing else quite can. That belief still drives us. Behind the cameras and gear is a down-to-earth Adelaide team who care deeply about doing good work, staying humble, and making the process enjoyable along the way. With decades of combined experience across broadcast, commercial and digital production, you’re in safe hands.

We create. You share. Simple.

As your end-to-end production partner, we’re here to make professional video feel easy – not overwhelming. We handle the planning, guide the process, and craft story-driven content that’s ready to connect with the people you’re trying to reach.

Making videos should be fun, simple and enjoyable.

We pride ourselves on a calm shoot atmosphere, minimal fuss and good banter. We then keep you updated on the project, making sure it’s delivered on time and on budget.

MEET THE TEAM

Joel Polkinghorne

Founder & Creative Director

Joel’s passion for video started in the days of VHS, drawn to the simple power of video to connect with people. That early fascination became a career. Click Films was established in 2011 after several years working in education and commercial radio as online content producer. It was clear that the future of audience engagement was online.

His guiding philosophy “The best marketing strategy ever – Care.” (Gary Vaynerchuk) is not just as a quote, it fundamental. Care about the story. Care about the audience. Care about the people trusting you to tell it. Care about getting it right.

Kendall Deane

Producer

Kendall spends most of her time convincing other people to step in front of the camera. She understands the nerves, hesitation and awkwardness. And she knows how to turn it into something natural, confident and real. She genuinely likes people and wants them to shine. In an industry that can take itself too seriously, she believes the process should be enjoyable – because relaxed people tell better stories.

With more than two decades in commercial television, including producing and series producing over 90 episodes of SA Weekender for Channel 7, Kendall brings deep industry experience to every project, plus a few puns for good measure.

Perry Childs

Senior Editor

Perry is the creative force shaping the final look and feel of video at Click Films. With more than three decades in post-production, his career spans Channel Nine, Foxtel, senior Editor roles in Sydney, and over 20 years freelancing across television, commercial and digital projects.

Today, as Senior Video Editor at Click, he combines that deep technical foundation – editing, compositing, colour grading, motion graphics and audio mixing, with a sharp instinct for story and pacing. Calm, meticulous and creatively driven, Perry knows how to take raw footage and shape it into content that feels polished, purposeful and ready for any platform.

Josh Nicol

Videographer and Editor

Josh is a versatile visual storyteller who brings clarity, creativity and energy to every shoot.
Whether it’s dynamic brand videos, polished social content or capturing genuine moments on location, Josh blends technical skill with a keen sense of composition and pace. His approach balances professional quality with relaxed, natural direction, helping clients feel comfortable and look their best on screen.

At Click Films, Josh is the go-to for production and thoughtful editing that lifts the story, enhances the message and delivers work that clients are proud to share.
