Project Overview

Click Films was commissioned by the Alexandrina Council to capture the biennial Wooden Boat Festival in Goolwa, South Australia—a celebration of historic and heritage vessels set against the backdrop of the town’s iconic wharf. The team provided full event coverage across both video and photography, including aerial drone footage, crowd highlights, and the evening fireworks display.

The goal was to showcase the scale and atmosphere of the festival, highlighting the unique charm of the location, the heritage boats, and the strong community turnout. Deliverables included an event highlights video for immediate promotion, as well as evergreen content for future marketing. Photography from the event was also supplied for promotional use across print and media platforms. Despite challenges such as changing weather and a busy, fast-paced environment, the project was delivered on time and was able to capture the scale and diversity of the event.
