Adelaide Arcade TV Commercial

Adelaide Arcade approached Click Films to create an energetic commercial designed to showcase the grand historic characteristics of Adelaide Arcade. The 1-day shoot featured local models Chloe and Craig along with over 15 extras. The ‘hero shot’ nearly didn’t happen with the iconic foundation not working on the day but luckily it was fixed just in time.



Germein Sisters “100 Years” Music Video

With the release of the Germein Sisters’ limited edition EP, we’re excited to share the ‘100 Years’ music video. Filmed over 2 days at Port Vincent, Stansbury, and Middleton – the video showcases some of South Australia’s picturesque locations.  It was great to see all the planning and scripting come together and we want to thank everyone involved, from the production team through to extras and the amazing Sue for feeding us. And huge congratulations to Georgia, Clara and Ella for making this such a great video.

Introducing Kris!


Kris Jenkinson – Production Manager/Cinematographer

2016 was an exciting year for us. We launched the new Click Films brand and not long after Kris Jenkinson joined our production team. His eye for detail, expertise in all things digital and witty humour was a perfect fit for Click Films. With a wealth of experience in wedding films and professional design, Kris has transitioned seamlessly into the role. His creative style has already been seen in numerous projects. 

On a more personal note Kris is married and has two energetic boys who keep him on his toes. He’s an avid fisherman and spends as much time as he can on the water. In amongst his arsenal of fishing and camping gear, his camera is usually his top priority when packing for a trip!

If there’s laughter in the studio, Kris can usually be found at the centre of it, with his many impressions and singing capabilities.

We are excited to have Kris onboard!

Studio Refurbishment

Our studio at 146 Tynte Street North Adelaide has undergone a much needed refurbishment. The new look features a rustic timber feature wall, a fresh coat of paint and custom built desks and furniture. All the work was done in-house with Kris and Joel showcasing the diversity of skills on hand at Click Films.

There are plans for more work over the next 6 months including an acoustic ceiling and more custom fixings. We’ve added colour with some beautiful artwork pieces from local artist Sarah Moller.

Special Olympics Australia – Dream Ride 2016

Partnerships are key to the on-going success of our business. In December 2016, we partnered with our good friends at Taste Creative and Special Olympics Australia to cover the inaugural Dream Ride in Sydney. Dream Ride brings motoring enthusiasts and people with intellectual disability together to enjoy the thrill of a ride in a luxury car, while raising funds for Special Olympics Australia.

The event was a huge success with 100s of participants, volunteers and motor vehicle owners. Our goal was to capture the experience had by the Special Olympics athletes and to give audiences a taste of Dream Ride for themselves. The responses from the athletes around the value of inclusion and acceptance was an absolute highlight.


Paul Munns Instant Lawn TVC

“Reclaiming the Aussie Outdoors”

Partnering with local business to take an idea and make it a reality is what we thrive on at Click Films. We recently were given the opportunity to work with Paul Munns Instant Lawns to create a TV Commercial as part of their summer campaign “Reclaim the Aussie Outdoors”.

We developed the concept and worked with the team a Paul Munns to create a TV Commercial which celebrates the Aussie ideal of spending time outside, playing backyard cricket and having a BBQ with friends. The aim was to promote a lifestyle, not just a product or brand.


Travelling to Indonesia for House of Hope filming

Travelling overseas is always exciting and even more so when its to capture footage and photos. In July Michael and I had the privilege of joining a team from Bethany Christian School (Paralowie) and Aid Indonesia to visit a children’s home and school in North Sumatra, Indonesia. During the 10-day adventure, the crew travelled 5 hours by road, from the city of Medan to the remote region of Porsea. There we were welcomed by 50+ children and staff from House of Hope.

We spent the next 6 days capturing their smiles, hearing their stories and seeing first hand the difference House of Hope is making in this beautiful part of the world. We were inspired by the commitment to love and care for these kids and create a family environment where they truely belong. The project is now in post-production with several mini-documentary films in editing phase. Be sure to follow our social media news feeds to see the final edits. 



Brand Launch

2016 has been a very exciting year for us. In June we launched our new brand, Click Films. This change is more than just a logo update, for us it represents a maturing of the company, and a galvanising of our team. Our new look is designed to showcase this shift, being cleaner, simpler, and bolder. It was great working with the team at Pitstop Marketing to develop the design. We are looking forward to continuing on with more creativity and professionalism than ever before.

To celebrate the change, as well as the fifth anniversary of the business, we hosted a launch party at Tenth & Gibson. The night was a great success, and it was amazing to be able to thank all the people who have been part of our journey. We had a lot of fun showcasing our new branding, and shooting a short, one-take video on the night as a surprise twist. We put a lot of time and effort into choreographing our camera-movements, fine-tuning the script, and preparing all the props and the end result is even better than we’d hoped for.

Ferrari California T Launch Event

In August we had the opportunity to film and produce a highlights package for the launch of the new Ferrari California T. The night was made especially significant by being the first launch event held at the new Ferrari showroom on West Terrace; the first of its caliber in Adelaide in a decade. With plenty of food and champagne, a live DJ, and an impressive collection of cars, the atmosphere on the evening was electric. The valet parking, Atelier Room dedicated to customising your Ferrari, and being able to get up close and personal with the cars, made this a stand out event.

With the image of Ferrari being one of exhilaration, it was important that we ensured that we made filming and editing decisions to capture that image, as well as the excitement of the evening itself. We shot a large portion of the footage on a roaming steadicam to allow for speed-ramping in post-production, which we utilised along with a drum and bass music track to create a high-energy end-product.

Ferrari Adelaide is owned by Adelaide BMW who we have partnered with for over ten years, and it is a pleasure working with Ella and the team.
